MAKING CONNECTIONS
DELIVERING
RESULTS
BUILDING RELATIONSHIPS TO HELP THE GENERATION OF TOMORROW

It all began when my Dad said…
“GO POUND THE PAVEMENT, KID!”
It was New York City in the ‘80’s and, yes, my hair was big. I had just graduated college and was frightened and bewildered by those words.
I was bright, successful and street smart with a music business degree from the University of Miami, and I was completely intimidated.

BUT HOW??
I’m Sherri Tantleff, and I am a professional CONNECTOR. I am an experienced, passionate, client-facing networker who fosters mutually beneficial relationships in the entertainment media industry.
Bringing people together to address issues regarding curriculum, employment and technology is my passion. I participate in industry conventions and events including AES, NAB, NAMM, GDC, Siggraph, the Grammy Awards and South by Southwest and volunteer as Director of the Society of Professional Audio Recording Services.

As a kid, I studied musical theater but one day while lying on the floor trying to act like a piece of bacon frying during improve class it became blazingly apparent to me that I wanted more control over my destiny. I had a heart for music and a head for business, and I wanted to develop both.
After graduating college, I was working in an advertising agency when a new connection said…
“Hey aren’t you that girl who loves music?”
That led to landing my dream job with a NYC audio post-production facility, Sync Sound. We grew from two studios to 14, and I worked my way up from Receptionist to Vice President of Operations. I was there for 16 years. Have I mentioned I’m a LEO and extremely loyal? I loved it.
Unfortunately, my Mom got sick and after helping her battle leukemia (she's a survivor!) I decided life was short, and it was time for a change. Even though I loved my life, it was time to take a risk. I didn’t want to die having done one thing even if that one thing was really, really cool. I took a year off, traveled and got to live in two of my favorite beautiful places Waitsfield, Vermont and Taos, New Mexico.
"What was that amazing school I used to hire my engineers from?"…
After my year-long adventure came to a close, I reached out to Full Sail University, and here I am almost 14 years later and loving it.

Full Circle…

Now, I get to help people connect and succeed. I can tell people to go “Pound the Pavement” but I can show them HOW!
I am surrounded by creative and inspirational people every day who have limitless potential.
Technology helps us connect but we still need the head and the heart to know how and why!
For New Graduates - It can be intimidating!
For Busy Professionals- It takes time!
For Mentors ready to give back - they don’t’ know how!
For Employers- they still want to connect amidst thousands of keyword searches and resumes!
I am a trustworthy connector who is adaptable, positive and eager to help.

Let’s explore how I can make connecting easier and beneficial for you!
